6 day kununurra cruise connection

An adventure into the heart of the Kimberley without roughing it, this tour travels from the Mitchell Plateau to Kununurra via the Gibb River Road, with time to explore beautiful gorges, waterfalls and hot springs. Includes Home Valley Station, El Questro, working cattle stations, and finishing at the frontier town of Kununurra.

DAY 1: Upon arrival into the Mitchell Plateau (after your cruise has ended) we will pick you up at the airstrip to explore the Mitchell Plateau. Trek to Mertens Falls and then on to the famous 4-tiered Mitchell Falls. Plenty of time to swim, photograph and just absorb the scenery.
Overnight: Ungolan permanent wilderness camp (when unavailable, we camp and a rebate is provided).

DAY 2: This morning we pass through Livistonia Palms and some of the best views that money can't buy, on our way south. We cross the King Edward River for a swim and some Aboriginal rock art viewing, including Wandjina art and the mysterious Bradshaw paintings. Continue down Kalumbaru Road.
Overnight:  Drysdale River Station, standard room

DAY 3: Today we make our way to the Gibb River Road and visit Ellenbrae station.  We navigate our way through the stunning Pentecost Ranges, while crossing the mighty rivers of both the Durack and Pentecost, en-route to Home Valley Station. Overnight:  Home Valley, grass castle

DAY 4: Depart Home valley this morning and head to the award winning El Questro million acre wilderness park. We make our way to Zebedee hot springs for a refreshing soak and then on to the Station Township. Optional - cruise Chamberlain Gorge. This evening we enjoy an unforgettable sunset at Branco's lookout, overlooking Chamberlain Gorge, before a famous El Questro steak (or Barra) for dinner.

DAY 5: This morning we explore the beautiful and stunning Emma Gorge.  After a delicious lunch, there's more time to explore El Questro before making our way this afternoon to Kununurra.

DAY 6: This morning we will tour Kununurra and visit the Ord River and other scenic spots around the township. We bid farewell this afternoon and drop you to the airport, or you can extend your stay.
