General Information
What sort of vehicle is used?
We use the latest model, brand new, custom built All Terrain 4X4 Isuzu NPR300 5.2 litre Turbo-charged tour coaches with comfortable forward facing reclining seats fitted with seat belts.Air conditioning is standard enabling comfortable travel in the harshest conditions.
We have a state of the art PA system and on-board entertainment system to keep you informed and entertained throughout
your journey. Your safety is our priority - each tour coach is fitted with a Satellite Phone, EPIRB Safety Locater Satellite Beacon, Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Kit and all necessary equipment to operate in remote areas.
Our tour operators are licensed by government bodies and hold current Senior First Aid Certificates. Our coaches have sliding
windows that open to allow unimpeded photography and fresh air ventilation when conditions allow.
What do I need to bring?
Due to the time we are on the road and the rugged conditions we encounter, space is at a premium.We have a luggage limit of 15 Kg. Please only use soft bags when packing.
Essentials
Walking shoes or runners. Hat, sunscreen, insect repellent. Small water-container.
Here is a check-list to help with your packing:

- Socks, thick for walking
- Hat and sun-glasses
- Water bottle, , 1 Litre, leak proof
- Sunscreen
- Trousers or shorts
- Casual clothing T-Shirts, to wear and spare for night Shirts, long sleeved and loose fitting
- Warm jacket or polo fleece
- Underwear
- Fly net (drops over hat)

- Thongs or sandals

- Insect repellent (essential) and anti-histamine tablets or creams (if required)
- First aid, bandaids, headache tablets,prescription medicine,

Excess baggage should be forwarded to the tour destination at your expense. We recommend you contact Busfreight for this. This needs to be carried out by you, the passenger, on the day prior to departure.
Do I need to be fit?
A reasonable level of fitness is required to hike into the spectacular gorges and other interesting places we visit. Most of the walks are over uneven ground that may slope up or down. We ask that you be healthy, active and be able to walk a few kilometres at a time. Should you suffer from any medical condition, please advise the tour operator when boarding or discuss
your abilities when booking.
Do I have to help out?
Yes, everyone ‘pitching-in' with the loading and unloading, setting up camp, meal preparation and cleaning up is essential for a successful tour. The chores are not hard or strenuous and you may find it is actually fun!
Can I Charge My Camera/Laptop?
Yes, our coach is fitted with a 12v/240v inverter system to keep your Cameras and Laptops charged throughout the journey.
