listed as a World Heritage site. This spectacular wilderness park is the home of the Bungle Bungle Range. More than 20 million years of erosion and river movements have formed these huge black and orange striped domes. Travelling via Fitzroy Crossing and Halls Creek we tackle the rugged 4-wheel drive track into the national park, arriving late afternoon at the Bungle Bungle Wilderness Lodge. Here we enjoy a 2 night stay in the heart of this World Heritage wilderness.

Day 2: Bungle Bungle Ranges (B, L, D)
Today we have the day to explore the Bungle Bungle Ranges with our first stop at the stunning Echidna Chasm known for towering Livistonia Palms, here you can take an easy to medium 2 km walk. We then travel to the southern side of the Bungle
Bungles Massif to take an easy to moderate 3 km walk into the natural amphitheatre setting of Cathedral Gorge, make sure to try out the amazing acoustics within this gorge. While here enjoy the short domes walk allowing you to inspect the Bungle Bungle domes up close. Now there is the opportunity to complete your Bungles experience and see it from the air, on an optional scenic helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungles (approx. $265pp, own expense), experience the thrill of taking off in a helicopter and enjoy views into incredible ravines and gorges below. Enjoy drinks as the sun sets over the Bungles, before returning to camp for dinner.

Next we join the National Park Ranger for a fascinating cruise which takes us down the mighty Fitzroy River through Geikie Gorge, with the chance to spot geological sea fossils, crocodiles, exotic birds and other
native animals. From here it's only a short drive to the Fitzroy River Lodge for our overnight stay. Tonight get to know your fellow travellers while enjoying a campfire barbeque dinner prepared by your driver/guide.

Day 4: Fitzroy Crossing to Broome (B, L)
Our first stop today is at one of the Kimberley's most famous landmarks the Prison Boab Tree, once used to hold convicts. Here we also view Myalls Bore, a 120 metre long trough built in the early 1900's used to water up to 1,000 head of cattle at one time. We then travel along the legendary "Gibb River Road", once used as the main stock route for the region. We turn off to enjoy lunch and explore the pre-historic Windjana Gorge, regarded as one of the classic features of world geology and a great
freshwater crocodile spotting site. From here we head to Tunnel Creek, an amazing 750 metre long flooded tube tunnel. With torch in hand, take an exciting walk wading through the tunnel in knee to thigh high water and hear of the story of the renowned Aboriginal ‘Jandamarra' who used the tunnel as a hide-out.
