Health & Fitness
It is expected that all participants enjoy good health and fitness levels, as tours are reasonably active. Tours contain swimming and bush walks over sometimes undulating terrain.

Meals on Tour
To keep the price down on these exclusive tours, most meals are not included. Your tour guide will take you to various restaurants and eateries each day where you will be able to purchase your own food.

Climate
Apr, May, Sept, Oct: Fine and hot with mild/warm nights.
June-Aug: Fine and warm days with cool/cold nights.

Allow some variation for Purnululu (Bungle Bungles) National Park where night time temperatures can reach freezing during June-August.


Communications
Your 4WD vehicle is fitted with a Satellite Telephone. This facility is not available for use by our passengers due to the high operating costs. Messages are best conveyed to our office to be passed on to our passengers. It is recommended that passengers carry with them phone cards that can be used at phone boxes and other private telephones along the way.

What to bring
We ask that you pack your luggage in soft, duffel or sausage-style bags. Due to the limited luggage space aboard our 4WD vehicles, a luggage limit of 15 kg per person applies. A small day bag or back pack (containing camera, water bottle, towel for swimming etc) to be taken on board the vehicle during the day is also recommended. We recommend you pack lightweight, drip dry clothing that may be handwashed. Laundrettes with coin operated washing machines are located in the larger regional centres such as Broome and Kununurra.

  • Walking boots and/or comfortable walking shoes
